Qualifying Examination Committee
A Qualifying Examination Committee, composed of a minimum of three Program Faculty members, is chosen for each student by the Executive Committee of the PhD Program. Each Examination Committee is chaired by a member of the Executive Committee to facilitate uniformity in the examination process and includes faculty members who have not been directly involved in the development of the student’s research proposal.
