26.2. Medical Clearance
When a student experience a contagious illness (flu, COVID, common cold, etc.) or the student has a physical disorder/medical event that restricts their physical activity in any way, the student must receive medical clearance from a health care provider and present it in writing to the preceptor and the Director of Clinical Education. In such instances, the health status requirements of, MGH Occupational Health, the clinical facility, and the Program must be met before returning to their clinical experience.
