22.4. Appropriate Utilization of PA Student at Clerkship Sites

PA students must not be used as a substitute for clinical or administrative staff. A supervising preceptor or their designee must be present in the facility at all times while the student is engaging with patients. If a student feels they are not receiving adequate supervision or are being used as an employee, contact the Director of Clinical Education immediately for assistance.
