3.2.2 Academic Standing Policies

Students must maintain a cumulative B (3.0) average in the Core Courses and Supplemental Coursework. If more than 3 credits fall below the cumulative B (3.0) average in the first three semesters, then a student cannot register for additional classes until the deficiencies are remediated. If the cumulative B (3.0) standard is not met, the student will be issued an academic warning in writing by the Program Director and s/he will be placed on academic probation. A student given an academic warning must regain a cumulative 3.0 GPA within the next semester or will be subject to dismissal. For more information, see the Institute Catalog for “Satisfactory Academic Progress/Academic Standing” under the Grading Policy.
