10.3.1 Format of Petitions

Petitions should be submitted to the Executive Committee / Committee on Academic Policies and Procedures through the academic advisor. Petitions should be submitted in the form of a letter addressed to the student’s academic advisor or the Committee on Academic Policies and Procedures.  Petitions should include the specific request, a complete explanation of why the request is being made and must include supporting documentation to justify why the petition should be granted.  Petition letters attached to Institute emails are acceptable.
